Privacy policy
How Barrel S.r.l. handles the personal data you send us through this website.
1. Controller and contact
The data controller is Barrel S.r.l., Galleria delle Porte Contarine 4, 35137 Padua (PD), Italy, VAT IT12616620964. For privacy requests: info@barrel.digital.
2. Data, purposes and legal bases
When you submit the feasibility study form, we collect your name, organization, email address, sector, estimated users, message and consent choices. When you use the configurator, we also collect the inputs and results of your configuration together with your contact details (name, email, organization, role, sector, country, estimated users, notes and consent choices), for the same purpose and legal basis as the contact form. We process these details to respond to and manage your request and any ensuing pre-contractual discussion (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We process your data for commercial communications only if you separately opt in (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you may withdraw this consent at any time. Technical information strictly necessary to run and secure the website may be processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Retention and recipients
We retain enquiry data for the time needed to handle the request and any resulting relationship, ordinarily no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact unless legal obligations require a longer period. Marketing data is kept until consent is withdrawn or the purpose ends. Authorized staff and technical service providers may process data under appropriate instructions and safeguards. We do not sell your data.
4. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing under Articles 15–22 GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Write to info@barrel.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
5. Transfers and updates
The contact form is stored in the website’s protected database. Should a provider require processing outside the European Economic Area, appropriate GDPR transfer safeguards must apply. This notice may be updated as services change; the version published here applies when you visit.
